Arabic uncyclopedia

I’ve started working on the Arabic version of uncyclopedia, I am almost alone there, and the Arabs have kinda different taste of humor And it is a hard work, I think there is a big potential for this uncyclopedia, the question is how can I become an administrator there, and how can I change the name beidipedia is not a good translation for the concept of uncyclopedia. Arabic has been a desert wasteland for some time now. Usually, questions like these are raised first on the wiki itself, if anyone's there. Under these conditions, though, there might not be an active bureaucrat in this wiki. As ar: is on Wikia, most likely you will need to contact Wikia staff. Perhaps wikia:user:Sannse would be a good person to contact first, as she's one of the admins on en:? Admin status (or asking to "adopt" an abandoned Wikia project) is usually not too hard to get, anyone on the Wikia staff "community team" ought to be able to intervene. Renaming an existing project may be a bit more difficult. It's been done in rare instances, but it might take a while (and a fair amount of asking around on Wikia) before anything gets done.

As for a different taste of humour? Hopefully this doesn't involve the words "Jylands-Posten cartoon controversy" or "fatwa"? :) --Carlb 18:07, 19 January 2007 (EST)
