I am only regulary active administrator of this wiki [1][2], but we don’t have any active bureaucrat (current list of bureaucrats). Last edit of last active bureaucrat was on november 25th, 2010 on his talk page [3]. First bureaucrat became unactive since 2007 [4]. I truly appreciated the recent cleanup of inactive admin accounts (and the addition of new ones) on Babel, and would like to see the same occur on UnCommons and here on UnMeta. Others agree. I will see what I can do on UnCommons, but the situation is somehow complicated on UnMeta. There were a lot of heated debates about the role of User:Kohl, seen his history and relationship with his former home wiki (Desciclopédia). Those discussions had split Desciclopédia's community in two parts, the one accusing him abusing his user rights, the other part defending him because there were rumours of a conspiracy. I imposed a veto on his de-sysop, because such a decision would sow a lot of controversy. So I hope you agree on that. Alzheimlich doesn't do very much either, but he mentioned he will keep an eye on what's happening here. However, I don't agree with this point of view, I mean the "passively watching" and I don't get the point of being a sysop when one doesn't represent another wiki at all. Hi CH,

I understand the validity of 'keeping an eye out', but when the wikis accumulate linkspam while sysop accounts fail to accumulate edits for years at a time, the eye is obviously not watching. I think it's poor practice to just hand out admin levels for honorary purposes, where no actual work is being done.

That said, I don't think keys need to be permanently revoked except where they have been abused by the keepers. If anyone comes back and asks for their level to be restored, I think they should be... with the understanding that the sysop will actively continue to monitor and edit in the future. No anger, no heated community-splitting debates, just a simple "Hi. Sorry I was away for so long. You did not stutter, but the question is: why do you want the status back? Have you any intentions to further the means of uncyclomedia, that is, being a central point for the different languages or is it just a matter of status? I mean, if your goal is towards a mutual agreement between the ***colpedia's, why are most of the users and admins of the Dutch Oncyclopedia Neerlandica banned from Uncyclopedia? This proves in my view, that this application of Zombiebaron is nothing other than a political move ti regain his staus and has nothing to do with reconciliating the different ***pedia's. I don't really want to continue this drama any further, but since I kept logs of our discussion on IRC today, I thought I should post a small relevant portion of it here. In case you've forgotten, this is when you told Lyrithya to go fuck herself:

Maybe you could post the whole conversation and so show that I was talking to Zombiebaron to try and get our problems out of the way, when you kept interfering and didn't answer when I asked who you are and what you wanted, to which you didn't care to respond. But I'll tell you another thing:

I don't care what you do. The fun of editing for these sites has long gone sour already and the fact that I am still banned after all these years on Uncyclopedia and on the IRC channel and now this childish banning on the Unmeta channel has led me to conclude that i don't want anything more to do with the constant fighting and adolescent games that are played when people think they can achieve power by this and become admin by setting up people against each other. Worrying about good relations and trying to make something of the intercyclopedian relations is again ruining my appetite, so I'm resigning as admin here and will only do what de ***pedia's are meant for and I'll only do that on Oncyclopedia Neerlandica, namely writing and editing funny articles. So you figure it out and do what you like. I'm gone here and will stick to writing on my weblogs and the occasional article on Oncyclopedia. I also don't see valid reasons for NOT giving the rights at this moment. The "I'm banned on your home ***clopedia and you have to fix that" is not a valid argument.
