Copy this default anti-spam blacklist, and add some bad titles in your language | CartoonistHenning (talk) 14:38, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

That's a good way to kill a wiki, right there. ~ Pointy.png 13:33, 26 September 2011
Agreed. Doesn't work. Can't upload anything. Can't create anything. If I didn't have a reason to be attached to this wiki, I'd have become frustrated and left. ~ The Bard of UnMeta 15px-Quill.gif 14:44, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
I created the blacklist in June, when a spam wave was terrorising almost every Uncyclomedia wiki. It was meant for a temporar solution. When I thought it was time to remove it, the spam came over again, especially here on UnMeta. You know what? I'll remove it, but I will put it on again if the spam keeps coming. I really don't know other ways to stop the spam without deleting it manually: if I had ftp access, maybe I would take the task upon me. You mean that stuff with titles of strings of random words with numbers at the end? Rangeblocks solved that just fine on ?pedia, and we found various regex strings specific to those rather effective on en-uncyclopedia... and that was just filtering the body of the text. Not that it's likely to help now, but with software to block titles, you could just block them on that alone... perhaps next time? Seriously, though, matching full strings is what regex is for, man. ~ Pointy.png 19:36, 26 September 2011
