Favicon.ico of Malucopédia is appearing wrong

I awakened from a seven-months coma and perceived that the icon of Irratiopedia is appearing instead of the icon of Malucopédia at the pages of Malucopédia (in any browser), and it's not the first time this happens. Hi Vox, have you tried "Refresh special pages" before? See uk:Special:RefreshSpecial. It could be that this function doesn't exist on your wiki, I don't know exactly. If not, contact Carlb | CartoonistHenning (talk) 17:28, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

There are two registered domains for Oncyclopedia. The .net is the most stable domain, after we saw .org had some problems. So our host Carlb redirected .org to .net. There's no need to change all interwikis, the redirect works perfectly. Only... I don't understand why I can't access Wiki.png anymore :p CartoonistHenning (talk) 20:02, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Interwiki Problem

Hello, I am about to running an interwiki bot, but seems there a globally problem with some interwikis, look at this edit and this edit interwikis for "ms" and "nn" aren't exist in interwiki table and interwiki for "af" is http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Babel:Af/$1 which I think should be http://niesiklopedia.org/wiki/$1 and some domains doesn't event exist for example in this page domain for "fi" is http://hikipedia.org/ which should be http://hiki.pedia.ws/ , please fix these all, Thank you. @Mjbmr The Wikia Uncyclos is more difficult to do this because there we haven't sysops.

@Renard Sim, cada uncyclo tem sua tabela de interwikis. A mais atualizada é a do UnMeta (que me certifico de pelo menos a tabela da Desciclopédia estar sempre igual). O ideal é mandar pedidos de atualizações para cada sysop de cada wiki, como a polonesa onde vemos que eles não tem interwiki com ":ms" por exemplo. We seem to be lacking a interwiki for Desgalipedia (the Galego Uncyc with 86 articles). They have a functioning interwiki for us, but we aren't returning the favour. In fact, there are several foreign wikis we aren't linking to, but that's probably just going to have to be dealt with at another time.

It's almost needless to say a bit to update Special:Interwiki for what I have to check. In case of a new uncy arise in all other small or medium uncys an update on the tables interlinks. Why haven't I seen this yet? I have mailed Sansse many times before, but she doesn't seem to show much interest in non-profit wikis like us. You might be interest to read this. I also requested this on the Interwiki request on the Central Wikia, but the Staffers answered this was a "Sannse only job". They will be interested if we join Wikia, otherwise not. Eh, sannse-only? Hardly; the other blokes deal plenty with Uncyclopedia, and a lot of times prove more helpful because they're not just repeating the same thing over and over... not that it tends to achieve much with them, either. Frankly, they don't seem to want to do anything for anyone that doesn't fit into their schemas, whether they're hosting them or not. That said, to fix the object id thing, just change MediaWiki:Signature-anon to say [[Special:Contributions/$1|$2]]. The function it's using appears to be broken. ~ 13:35, 26 September 2011

You can not take your smile, Cartoonist, but it takes me. There was nothing that took the Desgalipedia that place and think that there were 34 articles at the time. Today I have more than 13 times the number of articles, the site is no longer a mere small Uncyclopedia and and except Wikipedia itself could make it visible to Galician speakers in the Cabozo. Extensions

This reguest would be adressed to Carlb. I wrote this before but I didn't get any response or result. I'm asking again to try fix:

• AbuseFilter — when I turn it on, it doesn’t allow to save whatever page anymore. I get blanked page instead;
• DeleteBatch — doesn’t work too. When I click to «Delete» on Special:DeleteBatch, it redirects me to editing of page named «Object» (!)

I wouldn't ask if it was not important; since I don't have any acces to server I can't fix it by myself... it is Uncyclomedia system admin's responsibility... -- Vox 02:31, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Not that it necessarily changes anything, but by 'blanked page', do you mean like the empty page you get when trying to look at a user's deleted contributions? Yeah, neither of us can follow that link here, but just for an example. That's the page I mean. ~ 15:52, 29 September 2011

Caching

Hi, I'm reporting a cache problem in wikis which host here such as Persian one, caching is annoying and it's not like caching in ****pedia projects, for example anonymous users always sees old revision of pages and need purge every time, I feel bad about this, also caching for this wiki on http://uncyclomedia.org is more annoying than http://meta.uncyclomedia.org , Is there anyway to fix this? Yeah, it seems to be pretty bad on all of them, though I never noticed any difference between which domains are used. Sorry I couldn't say something more helpful, but to my knowledge all we can do it hope someone with the power to do something see this. ~ 19:59, 4 December 2011

Aye, my own minimal understanding agrees - the server doesn't bother rerendering the pages for anonymous users very often. Saves it CPU time, but also makes the pages old for readers. ~ 20:42, 4 December 2011

It´s to save time, not memory, and is done using Squid (or Varnish) to ensure that the conversion of wiki markup to HTML doesn't get run every time a page is viewed. That conversion is time-consuming and can slow the site substantially, so is not done for anon-IP's unless there is no already-rendered copy of the page in the cache. It's possible that the same wiki existing as multiple domains (for instance, desciclopédia.org vs. desciclopedia.ws) may mean more outdated pages are stored, as each domain has its own set of stored pages in the cache. Manually forcing a refresh gives the current page, as does logging in, but otherwise the intent is to avoid regenerating the page every time as that makes the server (and the sites) very slow. --Carlb (talk) 05:34, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Login problem in every Uncyc

We have several problems in Uncyclomedia serves. In all, the old problem of not being able to login. I tried every way I log on here in UnCommons and Desgalipedia. Problem in Thai Uncyclopedia

I'm User:Brandy Frisky, Admin of Thai Uncyclopdia. Currently, Thai Uncyclopedia has been sufferred from missing codes, "{{#var:..}}" and "{{#vardefine:..|..}}".

As the result, almost of our pages are not work properly.

Do you have any solution for us, to fix it?

Main Page on Ninciclopedia

There are few days, the Ninciclopedia has been problems with its Main Page, usually, appears the error message HTTP ERROR 500. The bug started to appear in this year, because in last year, when the wiki was born, didn't exist errors.
