xn--desciclopdia-jeb.org (with the acute accént) has existed since July 2007 - one year before the non-accent version of the .org domain. It's rarely used, but valid. Carlb (talk) 06:53, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
I'm strange that, what I learned is that the internet links can't have or there isn't any kind of accent because they can disrupt the connection. If it happens, I would never know the fact. It's not that they can't have any kind of accent; most can, but then there's the problem that the accented form is a completely different domain name which may be registered to someone else. (Policies vary between top-level domains.) For instance, pt.wíkipedia.org could be a completely different website from pt.wikipedia.org - although at the moment I can't find a versão em português of either the wikipedia:Internationalized domain name or wikipedia:IDN homograph attack articles in either of them. The page does exist in other languages, though... and its all fun and games until someone loses an « ì » :) Carlb (talk) 16:37, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
